Dr. Brown has over 13 years experience in medical and surgical eye care.

He performs a wide variety of diagnostic and surgical procedures for cataracts, vision correction, glaucoma, diabetic eye disorders and macular degeneration. He is trained in the use of a wide variety of ophthalmic lasers.

Dr. Brown received Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts and Doctorate of Optometry degrees from Northeastern State University. He attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma and completed his surgical training as Chief Resident at the University of Kansas.

Dr. Brown has also been involved in organizing and participating in mission trips to Mexico since 1993. He gives lectures at medical meetings and is the Chief Continuing Medical Education Editor for www.Emedicine.com, a site that provides free eye care information.

Dr. Brown was born and raised in rural northeast Oklahoma and his parents still reside in Grove, Oklahoma. He is married to Dr. Melissa Brown, an optometrist and they have a daughter Jocelyn Ruth Brown, born Nov. 3, 2004. Dr. Brown’s interests include church, sports, fishing and science.
