MO – Regional Eye Center, P.C. is pleased to announce the donation
of a
LASIK Eye Surgery and Examination.
Regional Eye Center,
P.C. is pleased to announce the donation of a LASIK Eye Surgery and Examination
for auction to the Annual Children’s Center Gala that was held February
24, 2007. The event and auction benefits The Children’s Center as
a not-for-profit agency serving southwest Missouri children who are severely
physically or sexually abused. The mission of Children’s Center
is to reduce the trauma of children who have been abused by facilitating
a multi-disciplinary response.
Dr. Lance Brown, OD, MD said, “Our entire team is very proud to
stand with so many businesses and individuals who support The Children’s
Center. Our donation of a LASIK eye surgery and examination for auction
raised $1,500 for such an outstanding cause in our local communities.”
Regional Eye Center, P.C. also was the first local business to be part
of the AMBER ALERT sign network for the four state area.

JOPLIN, MO – Regional Eye Center, P.C. is pleased to announce their new digital display sign is now part of the AMBER ALERT system.

Located at the intersection
of 32nd and McClelland Blvd. at the Regional Eye Center building, any
future AMBER ALERTS will be displayed on the sign with critical information
during business hours. The sign was designed by Sunrise Media Group, Inc.,
the ad agency for Regional Eye Center in conjunction with Sign Designs
of Joplin.
“Regional Eye Center is more than happy to make our new sign available
to local law enforcement for AMBER ALERTS. We value our local community
and see this as another way to say thank you.”, said Dr. John Yuhas,
president Regional Eye Center.
A joint press conference with the Newton County Sheriff’s office
and Regional Eye Center will be held Monday August 21st at noon at 1531
W. 32nd Street to officially make the new sign part of the Amber Alert
system. The media and public are invited to attend.

O.D. to the Regional Eye Center team Joplin, MO – Regional
Eye Center, P.C. headquartered in Joplin, Missouri is pleased to announce
the addition of Dr. Chad E. Moore, O.D. to the Regional Eye Center team.
Dr. Moore completed his undergraduate studies in Vision Science at Northeastern
State University. He received his doctorate degree in Optometry from Northeastern
State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
As an Optometrist and member of the American Optometric Association and
the Missouri Optometric Association, Dr.. Moore examines, diagnoses, treats
and manages diseases and disorders of the visual system. The eyes and
associated structures as well as diagnoses related systemic conditions.
“I’m thrilled to be part of such an exciting and growing organization.
The team at Regional Eye Center is committed to each patients needs. Taking
care of people is close to my heart and I know it’s close to the
hearts of everyone at Regional Eye Center as well”, states Dr. Chad
E. Moore, O.D.
As a native to the four-state area, Dr. Moore was born and raised in Lamar,
Missouri. He attended both Pittsburg State University and Missouri Southern
State University while earning his bachelors degree. Dr. Moore and his
wife Tarrah have a daughter, Sydney and a son Cade. Dr. Moore will be
based in the Neosho, Missouri branch office of Regional Eye Center.
